Taylor Swift threatens legal action against college student for tracking and documenting her flights

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has threatened legal action against a college student.
The 34-year-old pop megastar discovered that Jack Sweeney, 21, who is a junior at the University of Central Florida, has been tracking and logging her travel activity for a number of years along with a host of other celebrities and this is said to pose as a “major safety risk” to her.
A legal letter from Swift’s attorneys to Sweeney obtained by the Washington Post reads: “We are aware of your public disputes with other high-profile individuals and your tactics in those interactions, including offering to stop your harmful behavior only in exchange for items of value. While this may be a game to you, or an avenue that you hope will earn you wealth or fame, it is a life-or-death matter for our Client.
“Ms. Swift has dealt with stalkers and other individuals who wish her harm [and she] constant state of fear for her personal safety.
“While this may be a game to you, or an avenue that you hope will earn you wealth or fame, it is a life-or-death matter for our Client.”
Despite being threatened with legal action, Jack is continuing to track the air movements of the ‘Anti-Hero’ songstress and posted his latest update on Tuesday (06.02.24) evening.
He wrote on X/Twitter: “Look what came in the mail today from the FAA, the registration documents for N898TS and N621MM. It includes Taylor Swift signing off on N898TS.”
The ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker had to deal with such an incident earlier this year, in which David Crowe was arraigned on Wednesday on stalking and harassment charges, only to be arrested again two hours later after going back to the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer’s street in New York City.
In 2019, Roger Alvarado was arrested for trying to break into the property, the second time he had been taken in for the same crime.
He was sentenced to four years in prison after making a plea deal.
In 2022, another man, Joshua Christian, was arrested for allegedly stalking Taylor across “multiple states”.
