OHMYGOSSIP — Shaughna Phillips is “convinced” she is having a baby boy. The former ‘Love Island’ star – who took part in the sixth series of the hit ITV2 reality dating show – is now expecting her first child with her boyfriend Billy and even though she wanted a girl, now believes she is having a boy, possibly based on the shape of her bump. She said: “I feel like it’s a boy now. I’m not entirely sure why. At the start of my pregnancy journey, I really wanted a girl – but I’m okay with having a baby boy. I’ve seen loads of articles on how the shape of your bump can give you insight into what the gender of your baby could be, but then other places say it’s a myth. One of my friends, who has two boys, said her pregnancies were so different and she was convinced she was having a girl the second time around. Then it turned out to be a boy, which made no sense because the pregnancies were polar opposites. “While at first I really wanted a girl, now I feel as though the gender is kind of irrelevant because I’ll be happy with either. At the end of the day, I’m going to love them no matter what.” The 28-year-old reality star went on to add that the baby will probably be a “mama’s boy” because they are taking very little interest in their father when it comes to kicking. Writing in her OK! Magazine column, she added: “I’m thinking the baby might be a mama’s boy, because they’re not playing with their daddy – he’s still not actually felt anything. I’ve filmed the baby quite a few times now, usually before I get in the bath I lie on my mum’s bed and just say, ‘Do something’ and wait. He’s quite active in the evenings so it usually works. My belly button just literally lifted in the air one time!”
