OHMYGOSSIP — Curtis Pritchard wouldn’t do ‘Love Island’ again. The 26-year-old star – who came fourth on the 2019 series of the popular ITV2 dating show with then-girlfriend Maura Higgins – has ruled out returning to the villa because he wants to become a full-time TV host and not the star of a show. He told The Sun: “Would I do it again? Probably not, because I want to move on to hosting.” The professional dancer – who acted in ‘Hollyoaks’ alongside his brother AJ – has done ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ and ‘The Greatest Dancer’, but now the car geek has set his sights on fronting ‘Top Gear’. He said: “Jeremy Clarkson and that lot are getting older… “If they retire – I’ll take their place. And I’ll be at the F1 on Sunday. “Presenting is what I’ve always wanted to do, and Top Gear is presenting and in a weird way I have presented all my life, so it isn’t that massive of a career change, but is from the dancing.” He added: “I was into cars since before dancing and did a lot of street sports. I love the adrenaline it brings. I’d love to create a career out of it.” Curtis – who was best mates with fellow Islander Tommy Fury during their time in the villa – previously admitted he rarely talks to his ‘Love Island’ friends anymore. Speaking last year, he said: “I don’t speak to that many people from Love Island now. I focus on myself and everything that is going on. Me and Tommy talk every now and again but I don’t really talk to the other guys. We have gone our separate ways and that’s the way it is.”
