Maura Higgins’ new man

OHMYGOSSIP — Maura Higgins has a new boyfriend.
The ‘Love Island’ star is reportedly smitten with footballer Connor Wickham, 29 – who plays for Milton Keynes Dons – after the pair were introduced by friends.
A source told The Sun: “Maura keeps her cards close to her chest but she seems totally mad on Connor.
“A good friend of hers put them in touch and they have been talking for some time.
“Connor and Maura went to Paris last month and it ended up being so romantic.
“They made it official then and have now gone off on their first holiday together as a couple.”
Maura, 31, has had a number of high-profile relationships previously.
She dated her ‘Love Island’ co-star Curtis Pritchard after leaving the villa and later struck up a romance with Chris Taylor.
Her last serious relationship was with ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Giovanni Pernice in 2021 but he reportedly ended the romance in order to focus on the dance show.
Maura did not directly address the split, but when asked for advice by a fan on Instagram about break-ups, she wrote: “Allow yourself to grieve! Spend time with the people you love always remind yourself that everything happens for a reason!! The people who are meant to be in your life will be in your life!!”
Giovanni said: “Great relationships with great people can come to a natural end. This has been the case for me recently. There was absolutely no wrong-doing and this should be the end of any speculation.”
