Danny Dyer: Charles and Camilla were very good on EastEnders

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer says Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla pulled their ‘EastEnders’ cameo “out of the bag”.
The 44-year-old star – who plays Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter – has told how the cast spent 20 minutes with the royal couple, who are to appear on the BBC One soap as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, and they did the business.
He told the London Evening Standard newspaper: “They were really good, they pulled it out of the bag.
“We had 20 minutes with them. We rehearsed it, they got out of the motor, we did it and then they left.”
‘EastEnders’ have released a 17-second trailer of the duke and duchess’ Albert Square moment.
At the beginning, Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) tells Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and others they have “got to see this”, before directing them to see Mick’s “mystery guests”.
Elsewhere, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) asks Martin Fowler (James Bye) for a favour, and he replies: “Takes a princess to ask a duchess.”
The royal scenes, which will air next week on the show, will see Mick and his estranged wife Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) introduce Charles and Camilla to some of the other Albert Square residents.
Kellie recently admitted the royal visit was like a “dream come true” for her character, who has been battling alcoholism.
She said: “It is like all of her Christmases have come at once!
“It was one of the best days of her life, probably up there with giving birth to her children I would think. It was like a dream come true for her.”
