Rihanna will perform for the fourth time at the BRIT Awards 2016
OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna will perform for the fourth time at the BRIT Awards later this month. The 27-year-old R&B superstar joins previously announced acts Adele, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Little Mix, James Bay, Jess Glynne and The Weeknd at the ceremony.
The ‘Work’ hitmaker last stepped on stage at the BRITs in 2012, when she performed an alternative rendition of her hit ‘We Found Love’.
In 2011, she gave one of her most memorable performances when she sang a medley of ‘Only Girl In The World’, ‘S&M’ and ‘What’s My Name’ from her 2010 LP ‘Loud’.
And in 2008 she was joined on stage by indie rockers The Klaxons, who played alongside RiRi on her first hit single ‘Umbrella’.
This news comes just days after the release of Rihanna’s eighth studio album ‘Anti’, which released for free through Jay Z’s TIDAL streaming service last week.
The LP went to number one in over 30 countries worldwide, a feat which the ‘FourFiveSeconds’ singer said made her the “happiest girl in the world”.
The BRIT Awards 2016 with MasterCard will take place on Wednesday 24 February 2016 at The O2 in London and will be broadcast live on ITV and will be hosted by Ant and Dec.
