Phil Collins: I’m back with third wife
OHMYGOSSIP — Phil Collins has reconciled with his third wife, Orianne Collins, six years after paying her a then-British record £25 million in their divorce battle.
The 64-year-old singer seemed surprised that “nobody has noticed” he has reconciled with Orianne Collins, 42 – who is paralysed due to Brown-Séquard syndrome – after living with her for the past six months in Miami.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: “I’m back with my third wife – I haven’t really talked about it. We’ve been together for a while, and nobody’s noticed.”
Phil moved back to America last year from Switzerland to be closer to his two sons Matthew and Nicholas, and Orianne, after problems with alcoholism.
The ‘Easy Lover’ hitmaker and Orianne ended their seven-year marriage in 2008 after 12 years together.
Phil’s huge divorce payout was the biggest in Britain at the time, topping the £24.3 million that was awarded to Heather Mills in her split from Sir Paul McCartney.
It wasn’t the first time the former Genesis star, who is now sober and in much better health, had made a big pay out to an ex-wife though.
He gave second wife Jill Tavelman £17 million after finishing their relationship by fax in 1994.
The star – who was also married to Andrea Bertorelli from 1975 to 1980 – has paid out more than £42 million to his former wives after three divorces.
