Stephanie Davis quits I’m A Celeb over deadly allergy fears

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis has been forced to quit ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here’ because of a deadly nut allergy that could be fatal if she went into the jungle.

The former ‘Hollyoaks’ star has reportedly been left devastated after being forced to pull out of the reality show, despite being scheduled to fly to Australia tomorrow (07.11.15), after show doctors informed her she has a potentially deadly nut allergy.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “She was so looking forward to this.”

Steph’s allergy was discovered during essential pre-jungle medical tests and ITV producers were subsequently warned that if she got ill while filming the show her life could be in danger because the nearest hospital to the camp is an hour away.

Meanwhile, ‘Most Haunted’ host Yvette Fielding is reportedly heading Down Under despite suffering from vitiligo, an allergic reaction to the sun.

An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Even simple chores around camp will be a Bushtucker trial for Yvette in the boiling hot temperatures. If her skin condition turns bad she will be forced to leave early and get medical attention.”

Explaining her condition, the ‘Most Haunted’ presenter previously said: “I’m not an albino, but the doctor has warned me that my eyes are more sensitive to sunlight than most people. I have special sunglasses, with anti glare, that go dark straight away.”

‘I’m A Celeb’ kicks off on Sunday November 15.
