Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is pregnant
OHMYGOSSIP — Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Daniel have confirmed they are expecting their second child in March 2016. The 38-year-old heir to the Swedish throne is expecting her second child with husband Prince Daniel (41) who already have daughter Princess Estelle, Duchess of Östergötland (3).
A statement from the Swedish royal household released on Friday (04.09.15) on their official Facebook page, which read: “Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel are happy to announce that The Crown Princess is expecting their second child. The birth is expected to take place in March of 2016.”
The news doesn’t affect their schedules and the Royals are not due to take a break from their planned duties during autumn of this year.
The statement continued: “No changes in the schedule of The Crown Princess Couple’s public engagements are planned during the fall of 2015.”
The pregnancy comes amidst rumours this summer that the Swedish Princess was pregnant after paparazzi spread photos of Victoria with more weight around her stomach while she was on holiday in France earlier in the summer.
The newborn will be third in the line for the throne and is the second Swedish royal arrival in less than a year, and follows the birth of Prince Nicolas, Duke of Ångermanland to Princess Madeleine earlier in the year.
