Jessica Hayes and Max Morley have won ‘Love Island’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Hayes and Max Morley were last night (15.07.15) crowned winners of ‘Love Island’ and chose to split the £50,000 prize money.

The couple – who only got back together earlier this week – were crowned winners of the ITV2 show in the live final last night (16.07.15) after receiving the most votes from the public.

However, they were then hit with a twist when they were forced to choose between love and money and were given the option to either share the £50,000 prize money by both choosing love or to attempt to steal it for themselves by choosing money.

If one of them chose love and the other money, the contestant who chose money would take home all the cash but if they both chose money then they would both have gone home empty handed.

And although Jess confessed she didn’t fully understand what was happening, they both decided to choose love and went home with £25,000 each.

Jess and Max – who got together after Jess was dumped by Josh Ritchie – appear to have rekindled their romance for good despite Max previously choosing to drop her for Naomi Ball.

Meanwhile, runners-up Jonathan Clark and Hannah Elizabeth – who got engaged during the show – were thrilled for Max and Jess and seemed unfazed about missing out on the prize money as they instead found love.
