Stephanie Waring announces engagement to Tom Brookes

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Waring is engaged to Tom Brookes.
The 43-year-old actress – who plays Cindy Cunningham in ‘Hollyoaks’ – has taken to Instagram to announce her engagement, revealing that the loved-up couple took the big step on their first anniversary.
Alongside a photo featuring her sparkling engagement ring, Stephanie wrote: “And on the 365th day he asked me to be his wife. He’s the one.”
Stephanie’s ‘Hollyoaks’ co-star Ross Adams – who plays Scott Drinkwell – quickly congratulated the couple on their engagement.
He wrote online: “The HARDEST secret to keep. I’m so glad I can now speak to you every day. Congratulations to you both. Now let’s get planning that hen (sic)”
Fellow soap star Amanda Clapham commented: “Ahhhhhh Congratulations Steph!!! So happy for you both!! (sic)”
Stephanie – who has previously appeared in ‘Coronation Street’, ‘Doctors’ and ‘Holby City’ – and Tom also received congratulations from Jessica Fox, Denise Welch, Eva O’Hara and Tamara Wall.
The couple first went public with their romance in March, when the actress posted snaps of them together on social media.
At the time, Stephanie joked that they had “finally taken a couple of pics”.
And in June, the soap star confessed that she’d “never been happier” as the duo celebrated their six-month anniversary.
Stephanie – who has daughters Mia and Lexi from previous relationships – said on social media: “@tomtbrookes since you slid into my dm’s on Facebook (true story) Ok ok, I sent you a friend request first but the rest was all you. And since our first date where we literally did not stop talking for hours, You have never once failed to make me feel so unbelievably loved by another person. You make me cry with laughter mainly at your expense and more often than not at the most inappropriate times. I’ve called you a d*** more than I have your own name and I love that we share a humour and honesty. I’ve never been happier than I am when I’m with you. (sic)”
