Rylan Clark-Neal apologises for ‘scaring people’ after 4-month break

OHMYGOSSIP — Rylan Clark-Neal has apologised for “scaring people” after he had a four-month break from the spotlight earlier this year, following his split from husband Dan Neal.
The ‘Supermarket Sweep’ presenter admitted he “wasn’t good” earlier in 2020, but he believes the break could be “exactly what [he] needed” and he joked he is “going through a mid-life” after starting to dye his hair blonde and swapping his trademark sparkly white veneers, which he got back in 2013, for a new set of gnashers.
When asked if he is “alright” after going through a break up earlier this year, Rylan – who split from Dan in June after six years of marriage – said on ‘Lorraine’: “I wasn’t good, I’m not gonna lie. I think everyone knows that.
“You know I’m normally on telly every five minutes, I apologise you have to see my mug all the time.
“I had four months off, and it was needed. It’s been 10 years now I’ve been doing this job nearly, which is crazy.
“Maybe the time off is exactly what I needed. But I’m good.
“I’m obviously going through a mid-life, trying to dye my hair blonde, new teeth. [The teeth] are a lot smaller.
“I’m just trying to look after myself. I felt a bit like Where’s Wally for a while, but sorry for scaring people.”
Rylan admitted this week that he “really needs” a break over Christmas after a “hard” year.
He said: “I really need one. And I need a holiday – a week’s all-inclusive in the sun, with someone bringing me food and drink, and not moving.
“After the year I’ve had, which everyone knows has been hard, I just want to have fun and get a bit of joy in my house.”
