Gordon Ramsay is beyond proud of daughter Tilly after her Strictly stint

OHMYGOSSIP — Gordon Ramsay has gushed about how “proud” he is of his daughter Tilly Ramsay after she was voted off ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The TV chef’s 20-year-old YouTube daughter became the latest contestant to be eliminated from the BBC One Latin and ballroom show on Sunday night (28.11.21).
Gordon, who was reduced to tears by Tilly and her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin’s Samba to Dua Lipa’s ‘Levitating’ on Saturday night (27.11.21), hailed the pair as ” hard-working polite humble and incredibly down to earth”, and said their future is bright.
Alongside a snap of the pair in their Samba costumes, the 55-year-old star wrote: “Words can’t describe how proud I am of these 2, hard working polite humble and incredibly down to earth , most of all well done and what a celebration of youth and how happy it makes me feel. The future is bright and you 2 will continue to shine lots of love dad @tillyramsay @nikita__kuzmin @bbcstrictly. (sic)”
Tilly has credited her dance partner with bringing her “out of my shell”.
Speaking to co-host Tessy Daly, Tilly said: “I’d just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has made this an amazing, positive journey for me. From everyone here to backstage, wardrobe, make-up and camera crew. It’s just been the most extraordinary time.
“I found out something about myself that I didn’t know I could do, I didn’t know I could dance and have fun like this.
“So a massive thank you and, obviously, a huge thank you to Nikita who has guided me out of my shell and has just made this the most amazing experience.”
She continued: “Thank you, thank you, thank you. It’s just been amazing. I really meant it when I said I made a best friend for life. You’ve just been incredible. Thank you for the best couple of weeks.”
And the overwhelmed pro dancer gushed: “I’m the most emotional person so I hope I don’t cry. I’m just grateful for everything, for the whole Strictly team, for the production team, for the costume, for the make-up, for everything. Thank you guys, thank you to the professionals and cast, and a huge, huge thank you to Tilly.”
The remaining couples will take to the dancefloor in the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ quarter-finals on Saturday 4th December at 6:40pm, with the results show on Sunday 5th December at 7:20pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
