We paid Little attention! Little Mix didn’t read X Factor contracts before signing

OHMYGOSSIP — Little Mix didn’t read their ‘X Factor’ contracts before they up to the talent show.
The girl group – then comprised of Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards – were formed on Simon Cowell’s show back in 2011 and went on to win the competition and earn a record contract with Syco.
The girls have now revealed that they paid no attention to their contracts when they signed on the dotted line.
Leigh-Anne, 30, said: “We were so young. We were so naïve and just got kind of catapulted into it. Like, I mean, did we even read a contract, girls?”
Perrie, 28, confirmed her pal’s statement by saying: “We didn’t.”
Little Mix – minus Jesy, 30, who quit the band in December 2020 – are now far more savvy when it comes to business after being in the music industry for 10 years.
Speaking on their new podcast ‘The Power of Little Mix’, Leigh-Anne said: “Now I look back and I’m like, ‘Bloody hell!’
“We are so wise now, and grown up and like we’ve done this for 10 years. And it’s like, we just know what we’re doing.”
The girl group originally auditioned on ‘The X Factor’ as solo artists before being put together as a quartet and being tutored by former N-Dubz singer Tulisa to victory, making history by becoming the first group to win the ITV show.
Little Mix have gone on to release six studio albums with a greatest hits compilation due in November.
