Jennie McAlpine praises Coronation Street alter ego Fiz for moving on

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennie McAlpine thinks her ‘Coronation Street’ alter ego Fiz is right to move on from Tyrone.
Fiz decided to move on from her ex partner Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and go on a date with a new man called Phil (Jamie Kenna) and she finally feels like she could look for love elsewhere.
She said: “I think she has started to feel like she could move on. Once she had found out Alina was pregnant she realised that he had made his bed and he had to lie in it.
“It didn’t matter whether it was planned or not this is now his future and it is definitely not with Fiz and her girls and she needs to get on with that.”
And Jennie is glad Fiz has found love after Tyrone moved on with Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu).
She is quoted by Digital Spy as saying: “It came really out of the blue for her at the perfect time after Tyrone had a go at her for doing the article. It really flattered her that he wanted to take her out, she couldn’t understand why he is interested in her.
“In her mind she is the person whose partner left her for a younger sexy woman. She thinks she is the person that people leave, not the woman someone wants to take out! So it has given her confidence, she can’t quite believe this has happened to her after everything she has gone through.”
