Sophie Porley had ‘mixed thoughts’ about COVID vaccine

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophie Porley had “mixed thoughts” before having her first coronavirus vaccine.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ star had the Pfizer jab yesterday (15.07.21) after her first appointment had to be axed because she caught COVID, and her next date to be vaccinated was cancelled, but she had a jab after a walk-in appointment, and then pleaded with anti-vaxxers not to send her “horrible” messages.
Speaking on her Instagram Story, she said: “I got my first COVID vaccine.
“I was supposed to get my first vaccine the week I caught COVID, so obviously I couldn’t get it.
“Then I re-booked it for last week and my appointment got cancelled, which I’ve not heard of.
“But I got a text saying it was cancelled, so I kind of was taking it as a sign and it made me a bit nervous to get it.
“It’s quite scary, I had lots of mixed thoughts and then it felt weird airing those as well.
“I don’t want to get into conspiracy theories and be an anti-vaxxer but it’s something new and … I don’t know if anyone else felt this way.
“But anyway, it’s done now.
“Please don’t write to me if you’re an anti-vaxxer and tell me I’m going to die or horrible things because I don’t need to hear that right now please.”
However, Sophie was sadly inundated with a number of messages by trolls claiming she is “never going to have babies” after she had the vaccine, resulting in her taking a break from her social media for the evening.
She wrote: “Coming off here for the night now.
“I did ask people not to send me messages about all the horrible things that will happen to me after getting the vaccine.
“And yet my inbox still has messages telling me I’m never going to have babies, I will never have a period again etc etc.
“I’ve had the vaccine now, so these messages are super unhelpful (sic)”
Earlier this month, Sophie – who portrayed Ellie Nightingale in the Channel 4 soap – admitted she was “pretty much” back to herself after testing positive for COVID-19.
Asked how she is feeling after COVID, she wrote on her Instagram Story: “I’ve been feeling good thank you.
“I just rushed back to normal life and I probably did a little too much too quickly as I did feel really tired for a few weeks. But I’m pretty much back to myself now. The tiredness was literally the worst part for me, I’m someone who usually has lots of energy (sic)”
