OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Moffatt thought Bobby Norris was crying to “play up to the cameras” while he was being whacked as a “human piñata” in new show ‘Apocalypse Wow’ – but she has since realised he was “really in pain”. The former ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner “feels bad” for laughing while she and her co-stars battered ‘TOWIE’ star Bobby as part of the new ITV2 game show, in which an unfortunate contestant had to be strapped in up high and then struck by their fellow stars. She said: “I got made captain, which sounded lovely, but I had to make the decision at the end of each episode about who went up in this human piñata. “They were strapped, they couldn’t move. It was about 20ft in the air, and the rest of the people in the show had these harness things and we would jump and whack the human piñata. “Poor Bobby Norris, we thought he was crying and playing up to the cameras – and he wasn’t. “And now I feel bad, because I was laughing while I was hitting him. “I think he was really in pain.” But Scarlett admitted nobody in the show escaped unharmed. Speaking on ‘This Morning’, she added: “We were all bruised like peaches.” ITV have described the new series as “‘The Chase’ meets ‘Gladiators’ via ‘Mad Max’ and Burning Man”, and a “carnival of depravity and fun the world didn’t know it needed”. It sees five famous faces enter the Torture Dome, a secret underground club, part-BDSM dungeon part-super club, part-Fight Club. They take on the terrifying superhuman bosses, including Master Enormo, one of the world’s strongest men.
