Piers Morgan’s wife recommends corset to hide his waistline

OHMYGOSSIP — Piers Morgan will not let his wife make him wear a corset to slim down his bulging waistline.
The former ‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter piled on the pounds during the COVID-19 lockdown and his spouse, journalist Celia Walden, tried to convince him that it was time to buy a Spanx-style girdle to give himself a “V-shape appearance” whilst he tries to shift the weight naturally.
However, her suggestion did not impress Piers, 56.
Celia, 45, said: “‘Would you wear one of these?’, I asked the husband on Sunday, swivelling my laptop around to show him an image of a new men’s corset that promises to ‘enhance the male figure by giving it a V-shape appearance’. A glance, a lowering of brows, and a definitive, ‘No.’ ”
Celia continued to goad her man about the “bone-crushing contraption” which further angered Piers.
She added: “I should have stopped there, but I was having too much fun.”
Piers has been honest about his weight gain, confessing the scales were showing he weighs 16 stone due to him eating six meals-a-day.
Speaking back in January before he left ITV breakfast show ‘GMB’ in March, he spilled: “My own Good Morning Britain day regime is usually porridge and honey at 5.30am, Marmite on toast at 7.30am, eggs and something when I get home at 9.15am, possibly another sandwich snack at 11am, and a hearty lunch at 12.30pm before attacking the biscuit tin in the afternoon, until my wife Celia locks it away.”
“By 5pm I’m slumped on the sofa like a zombie waiting for dinner.
“As a result, I now weigh 16 stone, a stone more than when I started at GMB.”
