Love Island intruder got into villa as he ‘wanted one of the girls’ numbers’

OHMYGOSSIP — A ‘Love Island’ intruder got into the show’s villa because he wanted one of the girls’ phone numbers.
Omer Majid wore night vision goggles as he entered the luxury house on Tuesday night (06.07.21) and he claims he was so close to the Islanders – who were locked in two panic rooms during the security breach – he could hear them whispering.
He said: “I tried to get into the bedroom to speak to them. I just wanted one of the girls’ numbers, that’s all.
“I could hear them whispering on the other side of the bedroom door. They were just talking among themselves, there was no shouting or screaming, they seemed fine.
“I heard one contestant say, ‘Oh my God,’ but I don’t think they knew what was going on.”
The 21-year-old prankster also managed to sit in the show’s diary room chair before he was turfed out of the villa by security.
He said: “I went upstairs and I could hear more of them locked in a room there.
“That’s when I spotted the diary room chair, so I went to sit in it before the security team caught up with me.”
The YouTuber flew to Majorca and spent time “scouting” the villa and keeping an eye on the security guards’ movements.
Before he successfully made it into the villa, he says he made a previous attempt but guards soon spotted him so he pretended to be a tourist taking pictures.
He returned the next night and he claims he “walked in through the front door”.
Omer told The Sun newspaper: “None of the contestants were about because they were in a code red. They had been locked away.
“I managed to have a walk around and then security threw me out.”
Earlier this week, a spokesman said: “Last night a security breach was identified and an intruder was removed from the villa with immediate effect.
“The safety of both our Islanders and our production crew remains our primary concern.
“As part of our stringent COVID safety measures, the villa area that was trespassed has been fully deep cleaned before being made accessible again to the Islanders and crew.”
