Hugo Hammond ‘humiliated’ after Love Island challenge disaster

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugo Hammond was left feeling “humiliated” after none of the girls chose to kiss him during a ‘Love Island’ challenge.
The 24-year-old PE teacher has so far failed to find love during his time on the ITV2 reality series, and during Thursday’s (08.07.21) episode he admitted to feeling upset when he was the only boy left out of the ‘Line of Booty’ challenge.
The challenge saw each of the girls dress up in sexy police outfits and question a boy of their choosing, before deciding whether or not they wanted to kiss the boy they had picked.
Almost all of the girls chose to question the boy they are currently coupled up with, but Hugo’s partner Chloe Burrows opted to ditch the teacher – whom she is in a friendship couple with – in favour of Toby Aromolaran.
The two single girls in the villa, Lucinda Strafford and Millie Court, chose to question Brad McClelland and Liam Reardon respectively, meaning Hugo was the only boy who didn’t get to take part in the game.
Speaking under his breath as he walked away from the girls to rejoin the rest of the boys, Hugo said: “Not humiliating at all.”
And Chloe’s kiss with Toby in the challenge caused even more problems, as Toby is currently coupled up with Kaz Kamwi, who was less than thrilled to see her man locking lips with someone else.
Toby has made it clear to Kaz he wants to get to know Chloe better, and at the end of the episode, the pair could be seen sharing yet another kiss behind Kaz’s back.
Speaking before their second kiss, Chloe said: “She just said that the way I went about it was a bit sneaky. Kaz was like ‘You could have kissed him anywhere else’ and I was like ‘Okay, well I did fancy him and I want to get to know him and I did what I did.’
“Do you know what, at the end of the day if you genuinely do think you’ve got something with Kaz then you got something with Kaz, you know what I mean?”
And Toby then asked: “What if I’ve got something with you?”
To which Chloe added: “Yeah, I might have something with you. I think you have something with me, I’m pretty confident. Because I fancy you. What do you wanna do next?”
The pair then locked lips and the episode ended, meaning viewers must wait until Friday (09.07.21) to see the fallout when Kaz finds out about their antics.
