On The Road Again: Brendan Sheerin returning for new series of Coach Trip

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coach Trip’ is returning to screens in 2022.
Host and tour guide Brendan Sheerin will be taking a new group of celebrities out on the road for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic for another instalment of the Channel 4 reality show.
A source told The Sun: “Celebrity Coach Trip is a hugely popular programme and Channel 4 were keen to get another series in the bag as soon as it was deemed safe.
“They’re going to start filming in September when it’s likely the world will be a little more back to normal.
“Everything will be filmed within Covid-19 safety guidelines but the show will look just as authentic as it usually does.
“This new series will air in 2022 – meaning it will have been almost two years since the last instalment in 2019.
“Brendan is ready and raring to go and cannot wait to get back on the coach.”
The 2019 series was won by DJ Adele Roberts and her actress partner Kate Holderness.
Meanwhile, the pandemic hasn’t stopped the 62-year-old travel guru from offering up his travel tips.
Last year, Brendan took to Instagram to suggest a visit to the “bijou town of Guatape” in Colombia.
Alongside his holiday snaps, he wrote: “Good afternoon, I hope you are all staying safe and well. Another Colombia choice today, this time in the bright, bold and beautiful bijou town of Guatape. If you ever visit the area don’t miss this stunner, nestled just a few hours outside of Medellin…B x (sic)”
