Hugo Hammond cried after upsetting Love Island girls

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugo Hammond cried on ‘Love Island’ on Tuesday (06.07.21) after infuriating the girls with his comments about cosmetic surgery.
The P.E. teacher said he wasn’t a fan of “fake personality and looks”, and later declared his perfect type to be “a natural, leggy blonde, not fake”, sparking outrage from Faye Winter and Sharon Gaffka during a quiz game to find out how much the couples knew about their partners.
Faye – who had earlier admitted to having had a boob job – fumed: “That word keeps getting thrown around, doesn’t it?”
Sharon added: “It’s ignorant as f***.”
After the fame ended, Faye declared Hugo needed to get f****** educated why girls get work done” and some of the guys explained to him why some of the group were upset.
Hugo had a private word with Sharon and apologised for how he made her feel, before bursting into tears as he felt he had “let her down”.
He said: “I just didn’t mean to upset anyone, that’s the last thing I wanted.”
However, Faye insisted she didn’t care that Hugo was upset.
She shouted: “I don’t care if he’s f****** crying”.
But the trio later put their differences behind them in another chat.
Earlier in the game – which was designed to see how well the couples know one another – Chloe Burrows was left feeling “awkward” when all of the boys chose her as the person they would couple up with if not with their current partner.
Faye was unimpressed and joked it was time to get Chloe out, and insisted her fellow Islander didn’t need so many compliments.
She moaned in the Beach Hut: “Oh cool, whatever. Do you what you need to do. Stroke the girl’s ego a little bit more, why don’t you?
“She doesn’t need it but who am I to judge?”
‘Love Island’ continues on Wednesday (07.07.21) at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
