OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Willis wants to compete in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ this year. The 45-year-old TV presenter is usually too busy working on her shows ‘The Circle’ and ‘The Voice’ to take part in ‘Strictly’ but after ‘The Circle’ was cancelled, she could find herself with some spare time in her diary. Emma told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “If I had time, I would do it in a heartbeat. Like I absolutely love it. “I’ve been asked in the past but it’s always the time of year when we’re filming ‘The Voice’ and ‘The Circle’. “‘The Circle’ is not happening this year, but let’s hope ‘The Voice’ is — otherwise I will be doing ‘Strictly’.” Emma recently worked with ‘Strictly’ head judge Shirley Ballas, on the TV show ‘Cooking With The Stars’ but when asked if Shirley had persuaded her to compete on the BBC dance show, she replied: “She does not need to convince me to go on ‘Strictly’.” Meanwhile, Emma has also teamed up with AJ Odudu for ‘Emma and AJ Get To Work’, which sees them learn a new set of skills as they assist a range of businesses to get back on their feet after the pandemic. The UKTV Original series follows the pair as they sheer sheep, launch a pop-up shop, and muck-in at a hostel. Jes Wilkins, the chief creative officer for Firecracker, said: “Emma and AJ are an amazing double act and are going to be a real treat for W viewers.” The four-part series will air later this year after being ordered by channel director Adam Collings. He said: “Viewers are huge fans of the brilliant Emma Willis, thanks to the award-winning ‘Delivering Babies’, and we are over the moon to be welcoming AJ Odudu to the channel too. We’re excited to see what challenges are in store.”
