Harry Judd cut end of finger off while filming Cooking With The Stars

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Judd chopped the end of his finger off on ‘Cooking With The Stars’.
While the McFly star is used to handling drumsticks, he wasn’t so au fait with the professional knives in the new ITV show – and he took a chunk off one of his digits during a hectic cooking battle.
Emma Willis, who co-hosts the programme alongside Tom Allen, said: “Harry Judd cut himself within the first two minutes – the first chop he made he took the end of his little finger off.”
Harry was so focused on his culinary creations he didn’t even realise his hand was dripping in blood – mistaking the feeling for sweat.
Emma explained: “He did his cooking kind of racing towards the end, adrenalin pumping, plated everything up, kind of stood back and he just took it all in.
“And I said, ‘Is your hand alright?’ And he went, ‘Yes, it’s a bit sweaty in there.’
“As they reset the cameras, he kind of looked in and pulled it back a bit.
“I was like ‘That’s not sweat, dude, that’s blood.’ ”
Harry had to be tended to by a show medic “immediately”, but he wasn’t the only contestant to come a cropper due to the sharp knives.
Emma said: “Johnny Vegas cut himself at the start and Shirley [Ballas] too, and Denise [Van Outen] can’t use sharp knives, so she used blunt knives for everything.”
Other stars set to test themselves in the kitchen include comedian and actor Griff Rhys-Jones, DJ and songwriter Naughty Boy, former ‘Coronation Street’ star Catherine Tyldesley, and TV presenter AJ Odudu.
The eight celebrities are each paired with a professional chef who will mentor, teach and take them from passionate amateur to restaurant-level chefs.
The stars will take part in a series of cooking battles, during which they will produce delicious dishes which will be judged by the remaining professionals.
TV presenter Rosemary Shrager and food writer and restaurant owner Nisha Katona are among the pros taking part in the show.
‘This Morning’ regular chef Joseph Denison Carey, chef and business owner Ronnie Murray, chef director Jack Stein, Korean chef and restauranteur Judy Joo, chef and business owner Tristan Welch, and Italian chef and restaurateur Francesco Mazzei complete the line-up.
