Zara McDermott suffers daily nausea after COVID-19

OHMYGOSSIP — Zara McDermott is suffering from daily nausea – weeks after she was struck down with coronavirus.
The 24-year-old star has been struggling to keep her food down because she “instantly wants to vomit” after she eats, and the feeling worsens until she eventually throws up.
She wrote on her Instagram Story: “I had covid weeks ago! But I’m suffering really badly from nausea pretty much all day every day. Then when I eat I instantly want to vomit. I’m struggling to keep down any foods. I went to dinner earlier and felt instantly sick afterwards but I tried to hold it in. But the feeling just gets more intense until I throw up.
“Has anyone else suffered from this? Why is this happening to me if you suffered please let me know what helped you. I have thrown up pretty much every day for weeks and it’s getting ridiculous now! (And no I’m deffo not pregnant before anyone asks lol!) (sic)”
The former ‘Love Island’ star received messages from her fans who have experienced the same sickness after suffering from coronavirus or had the vaccine.
She was told the best solution is to visit her GP, with some fans suggesting her doctor may prescribe her an anti-sickness medicine to help her eat.
Zara replied: “Thank you so much for everyone who has helped and sent me a message. A lot of people seem to have experienced this – some even for months and months after. Which is scary and I really hope it doesn’t affect me in this way.
“People who have suffered have said their GP prescribed anti sickness and it helps, as well as eating little and often rather than full meals. A lot of people saying they felt this way as a result of the vaccine – I actually haven’t had the vaccine yet either because you have to wait for at least a month after having covid to have it I think! So I had to cancel it. But I am going to get it ASAP! (sic)”
