Maura Higgins and Giovanni Pernice ‘looked smitten’ in Blackpool

OHMYGOSSIP — Maura Higgins and Giovanni Pernice looked “totally smitten with each other” during a recent night out in Blackpool.
The former ‘Love Island’ star and Giovanni, 39, were spotted being “very touchy-feely” with each other, as the brunette beauty supported Giovanni at his dance show with Anton Du Beke on Thursday (01.07.21).
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “They looked totally smitten with each other.
“They were being very touchy-feely and had a smooch on the dancefloor.”
Maura – who previously dated Chris Taylor and Curtis Pritchard – and the professional dancer were also recently spotted at a Euro 2020 game at Wembley Stadium.
There were seen together at a hotel in Cornwall too, with their romance appearing to being moving at speed.
Last month, an insider explained that the reality TV star and the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro are “really into each other”, after initially enjoying a few dates.
The source said at the time: “They’re a thing now. At first it was just a couple of dates and some fun but it’s getting more serious and they’re clearly really into each other. They certainly look great together but they’re really getting on well, too.
“They’re both busy with careers but hopefully the summer will give them time to get to know each other better. They’re keeping it a bit quiet as they’ve both had failed public relationships but it’s hotting up really fast.”
Maura split from Chris Taylor in May after six months of dating.
The TV star announced the break-up on her Instagram Stories.
She said: “It breaks my heart to even type this. But I wanted to let everyone know that myself and Chris have made the joint decision to end our relationship. There is no wrongdoing on either side … we still love, care & respect each other deeply. From the minute we met each other we’ve been very close friends and that will never change.
“There is no regret. Life is about taking chances. We wanted to make this work but we have realised we work better being friends. (sic)”
