Nick Jonas has landed a modelling gig
OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Jonas always thought he was too short to be a model. The singer began his career as part of the band Jonas Brothers, alongside siblings Kevin and Joe. Now they’ve all gone their separate ways, with 21-year-old Nick gearing up to release his self-titled solo album in November.
He’s also got an exciting new job as one of Wilhelmina modelling agency’s faces.
“Even though I’m a foot shorter than all the guys in here, I’m officially a Wilhelmina model! Never thought this would happen,” he said, according to New York Post’s Page Six.
The star was at the No. 8 venue in the Big Apple to perform an acoustic version of his new single Jealous for a party hosted by the agency on Thursday.
Proving his style credentials, Nick headed to the Fashion Rocks event in New York last week. The star opted for a brown suit jacket, smart black trousers and a white button-down shirt. He finished the look off with shiny black-and-white shoes.
It’s clear the singer likes to dress up, and during a previous interview with seventeen.com, Nick and his brothers admitted they don’t understand girls who rock a “don’t care” style and wear sweats.
They also had an unusual answer when asked about their last purchase.
“A full cowboy outfit at a truck stop in the middle of the Texas desert at 2am last night!” the three musicians laughed.
