OHMYGOSSIP — Molly-Mae Hague has been diagnosed with endometriosis. The former ‘Love Island’ star requires an operation after she saw a specialist who informed her she has the condition – where tissue similar to the lining of the womb starts to grow in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes – after fans urged her to get checked for endometriosis. Speaking in a YouTube video, she said: “I actually have got to have an operation for something that I want to tell you guys about. It’s kind of a good thing and it’s kind of a bad thing. “I’ve told you guys for so long now that I suffer with excruciating periods and so many of you guys were commenting on my videos telling me to check for endometriosis. “Straight away they said, ‘You absolutely do have endometriosis, it’s clear as day.’ So I guess that’s kind of a good thing because at least I know now what it is. “It’s not a good thing that I have endometriosis, because obviously it can affect fertility and loads of other things, and you can never really cure it.” Last November, the 22-year-old star broke down in tears after she found out a mole on her leg – which she had removed – was cancerous. She said: “I’ve already shed tears about it. I’ve already cried down the phone to every single family member. “I was walking around with skin cancer on my leg. “I had the mole removed, the removal was fine. I got the call today, and he’s told me it is a malignant melanoma. “That’s skin cancer basically, which is obviously petrifying, and shocking, and scary. I don’t even know what to really think or say.”
