OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh has pleaded with her social media followers to “block and report” a fake profile of her fiancé Scott Ratcliff. The former ‘Coronation Street’ star took to her Instagram Stories to share the profile, which featured three pictures of Kym and her husband-to-be and had attracted 139 followers. She posted: “Fake profile of my fiancé!!! Please block and report!! (sic)” It comes after Scott – a major in the Army Parachute Regiment – popped the question to Kym as she celebrated her 45th birthday earlier this month. Kym – who played Michelle Connor in the ITV soap – admitted afterwards it was the “best birthday surprise ever”. She said: “I’m absolutely over the moon – I can’t believe it. “It’s been the best birthday surprise ever. I can’t stop smiling!” The 45-year-old star celebrated her engagement by partying with her former ‘Coronation Street’ star Beverley Callard, and her husband Jon. Bev – who portrayed Liz McDonald in the show – wrote on Instagram: “Catching up with special friends! Loving it! @jonmmac55 @marsh_kym @scott.ratcliff (sic)” Kym and Scott started dating in 2018 after they were introduced to each other by her former ‘Coronation Street’ co-star Antony Cotton, who plays Sean Tully. The ‘Morning Live’ co-host previously admitted she and Scott were “made for each other” because they have so much in common and “don’t argue”. She said: “I really believe that we’re made for each other. “We don’t argue, we’re similar, we laugh at the same things. We’re used to time apart but despite that we’re as close as we are.”
