Alan Halsall bemoans coronavirus restrictions

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Halsall has bemoaned perceived inconsistencies in the government’s coronavirus regulations.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star has taken to Twitter to voice his displeasure at the regulations, after Scotland soccer star Billy Gilmour was forced to self-isolate after testing positive for COVID-19, while his teammates have been allowed to continue playing at the Euros.
Alan, 38 – who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap – wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “If Billy Gilmour was at school, the whole year would be sent home for 10 days regardless of test results…..!! Not saying I agree but the rules are so different for so many of us (sic)”
Last year, Alan hosted Andy Whyment’s wedding anniversary celebration at his house.
The actor and his partner Nichola – who tied the knot back in 2007 – enjoyed a socially-distanced catch-up with his co-star.
Sharing a group snap on Instagram, Andy wrote: “We’ve come round to spend our Anniversary with @alanhalsall @missdrewmerry93 and Sienna not seen them for 12 weeks we’ve really missed them xx (sic)”
In the photo, the TV star and his wife posed with their kids Tom and Hollie.
Alan shared the same photo on his own social media account, adding: “Lockdown has reaffirmed to me … It’s not what I have in my life that matters… It’s who I have in it that counts !!! #familytime (sic)”
And in April, Andy enjoyed his first pint in six months in his local pub after lockdown restrictions were eased across England.
The actor – who plays Kirk Sutherland on ‘Coronation Street’ – took to Instagram to post a photo of himself and his wife at their local pub.
Alongside a picture of them enjoying a pint, Andy wrote on the photo-sharing platform: “Shops have reopened and our 1st draught pint in 5 and a half months down at our local club the Botanical Gardens feels like a bit of normality has resumed have a great day everyone [smiling and heart emojis] (sic)”
