Melanie Brown turns her house into a zoo for daughter’s birthday

OHMYGOSSIP — X Factor judge Mel B has revealed how she turned her home into a miniature zoo for her daughter Madison’s third birthday. The Spice Girls singer – married to Hollywood producer Stephen Belafonte – paid to have more than two dozen animals brought to her mansion in LA to entertain Madison and her two sisters earlier this year.

The Mirror quoted Mel as saying: “I did an animal party for Madison because she turned three. There were 25 different animals and they educated them about where the animals were from, what they eat.

“We had a turtle, a lizard, little baby rats. We had every animal you could possibly think of.

“They were holding the tarantulas, they were holding the snakes, pythons and chinchillas. It was great, just the five of us.”

Despite her reputation as ‘Scary’ Spice, Mel confessed that she found it harder to deal with some of the beasts than her three girls.

“I was the one that was terrified, the kids loved it,” she went on to add. “I wasn’t the biggest fan of the snakes.”
