Donna Air’s daughter wants to dedicate life to conservation

OHMYGOSSIP — Donna Air’s daughter wants to “dedicate her life to conservation”.
The 41-year-old’s actress’ teenage daughter is keen to visit Africa to see gorilla Joshi, who she had first encountered at Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent near her family home.
Freya took Joshi to a gorilla orphanage with her father, Damian Aspinall, and the gorilla was relocated to the Congo as part of its rehabilitation, and she feels she can “communicate” with animals.
Speaking to the Daily Mail newspaper, she said: “I feel I can communicate with the animals on some level, and they tend to trust me and accept me in a way they don’t usually with humans.
“But this isn’t about me, it’s about the animals and making sure we understand them, listen to them, and ultimately help them live freely in the wild where they belong.”
Earlier this year, Donna revealed she had tested positive for coronavirus.
She wrote on Twitter: “Hi Guys. I hope everyone is managing to stay strong and in relatively good spirits during the lockdown. I just wanted to let you know developed mild flu like symptoms and started self isolating 18 days ago, I took a test for some clarity & the results tested positive for Covid19.
“Thankfully symptoms improved shortly after and my loved ones are not displaying any signs of the virus. I will continue to follow government guidelines & in the meantime I am sending masses of love to you all … especially those on the front line. (sic)”
And after receiving the all clear, she was excited to be reunited with her daughter.
She explained: “I am aware what a privilege it is to be able access tests privately, so I have donated some to friends working for the @NHS.
“I feel relieved having consulted my gp who has confirmed it is safe to see my daughter again.”
