ITV commissions new Billie Shepherd show

OHMYGOSSIP — ITV has commissioned a new Billie Shepherd show, after Sam Faiers quit ‘The Mummy Diaries’.
The 31-year-old star is set to film her own spin-off series, ‘Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries’, with her husband and their children Nelly and Arthur after her sister decided to take some time away from the cameras.
Amanda Stavri, Commissioning Editor, Factual Entertainment at ITV, said: “We’d like to thank Sam and her family for helping to make ‘The Mummy Diaries’ one of ITVBe’s signature series. They’ve shared some of the most poignant and personal moments in their lives over nine series, and we hope to work with them again in the future.
“We’re delighted to be starting a brand-new chapter on ITVBe and ITV Hub with Billie, Greg, Nelly and Arthur. ‘The Family Diaries’ will continue to provide all of the humour, candour and family fun that have made The Mummy Diaries such unmissable TV.”
The new show will follow the family of four as they prepare to move into their dream home and make new memories.
Billie and Greg said: “We are so grateful for everyone’s amazing support over the years, it’s been a whirlwind of a journey so far but we’ve loved every minute of sharing our lives with you!
“As you all know by now, no two days are ever the same in the Shepherd household and now that we’re finally on our way to our dream home, we can’t wait to bring you all along for the highs, the lows and everything in between!”
What’s more, Billie has wished her sister the best of luck for her next adventure, and is excited to bring new fans to her upcoming show.
She wrote on Instagram: “As one journey ends another begins. And what an incredible journey it has been. filming with my sister and family for the past 7 years has been the most wonderful experience and we truly have made the BEST memories all together. Filming @mummydiariesofficial I always say it’s like the best home movie ever !!! We are forever grateful to all of our amazing Mummy Diaries fans and followers. Thank you for all of your support over the years.
