Caroline Flack’s trainer regrets ending their sessions

OHMYGOSSIP — Caroline Flack’s personal trainer regrets having to end their sessions.
Bradley Simmonds worked with the late ‘Love Island’ host – who tragically took her own life in February last year – and he has opened up about having to halt their workouts due to a work commitment, after growing close to her in 2019.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Even now I feel I could have been there for her, got her training again – all these things go through my mind.”
The pair became friends through their training sessions, and he noticed an improvement in her mental health.
He added: “She was hilarious, we had such a good connection and friendship. She got in incredible shape and her mental health was a lot better.
“We would go out, eat well at restaurants, I helped her with her nutrition and she was in a great place.
“Then, all of a sudden, what happened was just a massive shock and really tough to swallow.”
Bradley had to focus on a documentary instead, but he tries not to “blame” himself.
He said: “I referred her to a friend and, unfortunately, she didn’t maintain that consistency – she liked training with me.
“I can’t blame myself but I wished that I didn’t do that documentary.”
This weekend, Bradley will join her former ‘X Factor’ co-host Olly Murs, Louise Redknapp and the late star’s loved ones for the Climb for Caroline fundraiser as they climb 24 peaks in the Lake District over just 24 hours.
Olly previously admitted Caroline is always in his thoughts, and he paid tribute to her “every time” he stepped out to film ‘Starstruck’.
He said: “Hosting a show without Caroline is an odd feeling … she’s always in my thoughts.
“I thought about Caroline every time I was behind the screen about to go out – I was like, ‘Yeah, Caz, let’s go smash the show!’ ”
