Matt Damon ‘hopes’ Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are back together

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Damon “hopes” Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are back together.
The former couple – who got engaged in 2002 but split in January 2004 – have recently fuelled speculation they have reignited their romance after being seen out and about together, including at a luxury resort in Montana over the weekend, but Ben’s friend and ‘Good Will Hunting’ co-star has insisted he knows nothing about the nature of their relationship.
Appearing on ‘Today’ via video link from Australia, Matt initially joked: “There’s not enough liquor in the world for you to get me to say something about that.”
But the ‘Stillwater’ star then insisted he was genuinely in the dark as to what is going on with Ben and Jennifer – who announced she had split from fiance Alex Rodriguez last month – but he thinks it would be “awesome” if they had decided to give their romance another try.
He said: “I just heard you guys. I was sitting here waiting to come on TV. It’s the first time I heard about it.
“It’s a fascinating story. I hope it’s true. I love them both. I hope it’s true. That would be awesome.”
Matt’s comments come after it was revealed Jennifer is very “happy” spending time with Ben and had a “great” weekend in Montana.
A source recently said: “She had a great time with Ben. She is happy with him and enjoys spending time with him.”
Jennifer and Ben – who were pictured in a car together near a resort in Big Sky – are believed to have rekindled their romance and have a “strong connection” with one another which has developed very quickly.
Another source said: “[Jennifer] spent several days with Ben out of town. They have a strong connection. It’s all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy.”
