Jeremy Clarkson jokingly urges his son to become a burglar

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Clarkson has jokingly told his son to become a burglar to avoid paying tax.
The 61-year-old TV presenter has quipped that his son Finlo, 24, should consider a life of crime, rather than a conventional job, as it’d help him to avoid paying income tax.
Jeremy explained: “[British kids are] seen as weak, spoilt, lazy, entitled and completely incapable of doing what you and I would call work.
“Getting up. Putting on a tie. Being told what to do. And then going home with not much pay. And it’s true. They don’t want to do that. Which is why so many of them have decided to become burglars.”
The former ‘Top Gear’ star can see a number of benefits to becoming a burglar, including the lack of taxation.
He said: “You’re your own boss, you pay no tax and there’s almost no chance you’ll get caught.”
Jeremy previously encouraged his son to become a plumber – but he’s now revised that opinion.
He said in the Sunday Times newspaper: “I used to say to my boy that he should think about a career in plumbing.
“I figured that, with his accent and manners, he’d clean up, even if his customers had to do much the same thing after one of his visits.
“But now I’m thinking that he should consider a career in burglary instead.”
Jeremy also recalled the time when he had a CCTV image of someone stealing his television.
However, the police were still unable to convict the crook.
He said: “We read in The Times last week that in nearly one million burglaries that have taken place since 2015, police failed to identify a suspect.
“Yes, in 18 percent of cases a suspect was identified, but that was usually because he was on the premises when the constabulary arrived, drooling and puking into his swag bag.
“Anyone with even the smallest amount of self-restraint and intelligence gets away with it, which is why, in 82 percent of cases, the perps were never identified.”
