Cobra Kai mansion listed for $2.65 million

OHMYGOSSIP — The Georgia mansion from ‘Cobra Kai’ has been listed for $2.65 million.
The eye-catching property that appears in the hit Netflix series – which is based on the ‘Karate Kid’ film franchise – has been put up for sale by its current owners, the New York Post newspaper reports.
In the show, the mansion is said to be situated in Encino, California, but in reality, it’s actually based in Marietta, Georgia.
And while the property – which was built in 2008 – is elegantly decorated for the most part, some fans of the show have taken to social media to mock the barn-like shower, which is sat behind a stone wall and a wood-panelled door.
One Instagram user quipped: “That shower stall looks more like a horse stall.”
Another quipped: “Can you also cook a wood fired pizza in the bathroom (sic)”
The Netflix series stars Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso and the actor – who first played the character in the iconic film franchise – previously admitted he’s been reminded of his links to his on-screen alter ego almost every day for more than 30 years.
He said: “It might have been a day when I was sick and stayed in my room all day. But, yeah, it is pretty often.
“It’s a rare sporting event I go to when I don’t hear [the Joe Esposito song] ‘You’re the Best Around’. And if I’m in a Japanese restaurant and a fly is in the building, I have about nine seconds to get out.”
Despite achieving global stardom through the film franchise, Ralph has always remained “grounded” and he doesn’t have any big regrets about his career choices.
He said: “I wasn’t the biggest risk-taker, and I’m sure there were lost opportunities because of that. But also, maybe my caution helped me to stay grounded, so I’m at peace with the choices I made.”
