Phoebe Bridgers ‘doesn’t believe in’ straight people

OHMYGOSSIP — Phoebe Bridgers “doesn’t believe in” straight people.
The 26-year-old singer came out as bisexual when she was in high school and she thinks that being attracted to both men and women to some degree has become the norm in modern times.
She said: “I don’t know — I actually don’t believe that anyone is, like, entirely straight.
“I just don’t believe in straight people! It’s like, how? It’s 2021!”
The ‘Kyoto’ singer found coming out “was kind of the opposite of an issue” and she was always attracted to both “innocent indie boys” and “bombshell” movie characters.
She told Sunday Times Style magazine: “I feel like I love little innocent indie boys, and then my most seminal female crushes were always the bombshells in ‘Transformer’ movies, or Jessica Rabbit, or whatever.”
But Phoebe is currently single and insisted the only person of significance in her personal life is her dog Maxine.
She said: “This is the extent of my love life right now. [Maxine is] pretty flawless. She has no desire to take advantage of me in any way.”
Despite insisting she is single, Phoebe has been rumoured to be dating Paul Mescal, who appeared in her ‘Savior Complex’ music video.
She said of the actor: “Oh, he’s the sweetest — he’s the best.”
And asked if she thinks he’s hot, she simply smiled and replied: “No comment.”
The ‘I Know the End’ singer previously dated Ryan Adams, who is 20 years her senior, when she was 20 and was one of the women who came forward in a 2019 article in the New York Times who alleged he had been abusive towards his partners.
And though Phoebe admitted speaking out against the singer-songwriter – who has denied the allegations against him but later wrote an open letter of apology – led to her being targeted by his fans and “men’s rights people”, she’s happy she did.
She said: “If I didn’t p*** people off, I would think I wasn’t doing anything.
“I would be like, what was that even for?
“It feels good that the right people hate me.”
