Aidan Turner secretly marries Caitlin Fitzgerald

OHMYGOSSIP — Aidan Turner has reportedly tied the knot with Caitlin Fitzgerald.
The ‘Poldark’ star and his girlfriend of three years are believed to have tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy, where Aidan recently wrapped filming on his upcoming drama, ‘Leonardo’.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “The couple are both madly in love and couldn’t wait to get hitched when their schedules allowed.
“They’re both very private and have kept the ceremony very much under wraps, but he has been seen taking lockdown walks with his wedding ring on show.
“Aidan hasn’t been in a rush to get wed and has very much been waiting for ‘The One’ to come along — and anyone who sees them knows they’re the perfect match.”
The couple, both 37, met when they starred opposite each other in the 2018 US film, ‘The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot’.
Despite being frequently pictured eating out or at red carpet events, they have always kept their relationship low key.
Meanwhile, Aidan previously confessed women can sometimes “get a little hands-on” when they meet him at screenings, but he never feels as though his “safety is in question”, and he can see how a woman might feel intimidated by a group of 20 men in a similar situation.
He said: “If I go to a BFI screening and 20 women come up and they want selfies, it can sometimes get a little hands-on.
“But I never feel my safety is in question. I never feel like I need to get out of there. I don’t get scared, so it’s different. Whereas a woman might, if it happened with 20 guys crowding around her.”
