Piers Morgan clears GMB dressing room but leaves Susanna Reid cut-out behind

OHMYGOSSIP — Piers Morgan has cleared his ‘Good Morning Britain’ dressing room – but he left his Susanna Reid cut-out behind.
The former ‘GMB’ presenter surprisingly quit the breakfast show earlier this month – following controversial comments on the programme regarding Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey – and he cleared his room out today (24.03.21), but admitted it would be “creepy” to take the cardboard cut-out of his co-host home.
In a caption attached to a picture of his dressing room, he wrote on Instagram: “Goodbye, Good Morning Britain!
(I think I’ll leave the cardboard cut-out, would be a bit creepy to take that home… [crying with laughter emoji] (sic)”
Since Piers quit ‘GMB’ with immediate effect – after suggesting he “didn’t believe a word” of what the Duchess of Sussex had said in her Oprah interview – he has since backed puppet Roland Rat to replace him.
Sharing an article, which suggested the famous 80s TV character could sit alongside Susanna on the ITV breakfast show, he wrote: “Not such a mad idea … Roland was a massive breakfast TV ratings success in the ‘80s & likes to speak his mind. He’d also be immune to the cancel culture mob because he could cry ‘ANIMAL CRUELTY!’ if any of the wokies came for him … (sic)”
What’s more, Susanna’s good friend Robert Rinder is one of the frontrunners for the job.
He fuelled such speculation this week by admitting the prospect of replacing Piers is “very interesting”, but he isn’t sure he could “endure the wave of Twitter hate” he might receive.
Following Piers’ ‘GMB’ exit, he claimed he lost his job because he “chose not to apologise for disbelieving Meghan Markle’s claims” in her Oprah interview.
He wrote: “I’ve lost my job at Good Morning Britain because I chose not to apologise for disbelieving Meghan Markle’s claims in her interview with Oprah Winfrey. I thus became the latest ‘victim’ of the cancel culture that is permeating our country, every minute, of every hour, of everyday. Though of course, I consider myself to be neither a victim, nor actually cancelled. (sic)”
