Katie Couric Yahoo! salary revealed

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Couric took a huge pay cut to quit ABC and work for Yahoo! The TV star will make  $6 million a year from Yahoo in her new role as “Global Anchor.”

As anchor of the CBS Evening News, Katie was pulling in $15 mil a year, TMZ reports.

At ABC, Katie’s company had an overall deal that grossed $20 mil a year, but not all of that went to Katie personally.

Katie is leaving ABC news entirely. The Yahoo! job is a part-time gig.
