OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Gill thinks stretch marks are a sign of “growth”. The former ‘Love Island’ star has taken to Instagram to reveal the results of her recent fitness drive, admitting she doesn’t have any concerns about her stretch marks. Alongside a photo of herself, Amber wrote: “Stretch marks are the signs of GROWTH (sic)” The curvaceous star – who won the ITV show in 2019 – is often asked questions about her stretch marks by her social media followers. But rather than worrying about her body, Amber has simply learned to accept and embrace her perceived flaws. She said on the photo-sharing platform: “I get so many Q’s about stretch marks and what I use to fade them or get rid of the them the answer is I don’t I quite enjoy mine adds to my character [laughing emoji] but they have naturally faded over the years (sic)” Amber previously hit back at social media trolls following her weight gain in 2020. The TV star insisted she was still “the baddest b****”, despite her one stone weight gain. She said: “Stone or no stone I’m still the baddest b****, yeah like it is what it is, it’s just weird people want to do it, I know people are like ‘you signed up for it’ but just don’t say nasty things to people.” Prior to that, Amber admitted to gaining weight during the first coronavirus lockdown after “living off takeaways”. Amber urged her social media followers to ignore criticism of their bodies, saying “society doesn’t even know” what constitutes the ideal body type. She told fans during an Q&A: “Society doesn’t even know what it wants because one day having a big bum is bad now it’s great, having big boobs was the thing now it’s not, society doesn’t even know so don’t even listen to that s***.”
