Christina Applegate loves working out
OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Applegate loves working out! The actress says hitting the gym is part of her daily routine, and has passed on her health wisdom to other ladies.
“There’s never enough time in the day to accomplish everything, but I think it’s important to find a balance between family, work and staying healthy. Being a mother has reaffirmed the value of making smart choices for my life and my family’s well-being,” she said.
“I try to get out at least three to four days a week. When Sadie was younger, I would run out with her in the stroller. Now, we exercise at home doing kid-friendly activities. It is great for mother-daughter bonding!
“I want to encourage women, particularly younger women, to understand what it is to be at an increased risk for breast cancer. Talk to your family, understand their health history, and discuss screening programs with a health-care professional. Make smart and pro-active choices to live a long and happy life.”
Applegate recently admitted she can’t decide whether to have have more children.
“I’m 41 years old and I don’t know if I could do the whole not sleeping thing again,” she said.
“If I was 35, then maybe I’d have the energy. When I get up it hurts. Some people can do it and I say, ‘Hats off to you’. That’s just how I feel right now.
“I think we both want to make another Sadie. We watch this little person and she’s so perfect and she enhances our life so much that you go, ‘God — how could we not produce more of these?’”
“We’re both kind of like, ‘Eh, we’re a little old’ — we don’t know,” she adds.
