Stacey Dooley says lockdown has helped her romance

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Dooley thinks lockdown has made her relationship with Kevin Clifton stronger than ever.
The 33-year-old TV presenter started dating Kevin, 38, after they starred together on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in 2018, and she believes that lockdown has helped to strengthen their romance.
She said: “He is just an angel. I feel really fortunate to have him.”
Stacey would’ve hated to have been living alone amid the health crisis.
She shared: “When the lockdown kicked off, we were in this tiny flat and I thought, ‘We need a house’.
“So we bought the house and have a garden – and Kev is never out of it.
“I think if I’d have been single [during the lockdown], I’d have been so lonely. It breaks my heart, the idea that people had to go through this alone.”
Despite this, Stacey is struggling to deal with Kevin’s use of their marble table.
During an online chat on event site Fane, she said: “Kev keeps using it and not putting coasters down. That’s stressful.”
Stacey admits she’s “far from perfect”, despite her happy home life and successful TV career.
The BBC presenter revealed she’s determined to live a more environmentally-friendly lifestyle once lockdown restrictions are eased.
Stacey – who won ‘Strictly’ alongside Kevin in 2018 – said, according to the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “I fly too much, the heating is always on, the kettle is always boiling … I really need to look at how I live, for sure.
“When I think about sustainability, I place a real importance on fashion so I’ve really tried to turn my back on fast fashion, but that alone isn’t enough.
“There are so many things I do that are taxing to the planet. It does give you food for thought.”
