Jonas Brothers delete Twitter account
OHMYGOSSIP — The Jonas Brothers have fuelled speculation they have split by deleting their Twitter account just days after axing their US tour. The trio – made up of siblings Kevin, 25, Joe, 24, and 21-year-old Nick – recently cancelled their upcoming US tour following a reported bitter bust-up, and their axing of official group Twitter handle @JonasBrothers has simply added to rumours they have broken up.
When trying to access the social networking page, a message states: “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!”
The ‘SOS’ hitmakers’ American tour was due to start in Philadelphia last Friday (11.10.13) but they cancelled the gigs following a major argument about the “direction” their music was going.
Jesse Derris, spokesperson for the boy band – who formed in 2005 – said: “There is a deep rift within the band. There was a big a disagreement over their music direction.”
An insider added: “It’s not a personal fight, it’s about the music. They are brothers, they love each other. Yes, they are still speaking.”
What’s more, both Nick and Kevin haven’t tweeted on their personal Twitter accounts since October 1, while Joe – who has more than 6.5 million followers – last wrote on the social networking site on October 8.
