OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Aldridge thinks it’s the “coolest thing” her mother is a Playboy playmate and she reveals that she had a nonchalant reaction when she discovered her mum’s profession.

The stunning supermodel is the daughter of saucy magazine pin-up Laura Lyons and artist Alan Aldridge and she reveals that she had a nonchalant reaction when she discovered her mum’s profession.

Lily Aldridge told Esquire magazine: “It’s a funny story. When I was 10 or 11, I found a copy of Playboy in my dad’s studio and I ran to tell my mum. I thought it meant he’d had an affair or something, but my mum was amazing about it – she sat me down and explained that she was one of the playmates. I thought it was the coolest thing!”

The 27-year-old beauty is married to Kings of Leon rocker Caleb Followill – with whom she has a 15-month-old daughter, Dixie – and despite her hectic career as a Victoria’s Secret angel, she still makes time to travel on tour with her husband.

She enthused: “I absolutely love London. I consider it my second home after Nashville. My dad lives there and we go whenever my husband’s touring Europe. I made sure I could work from the UK while he was touring here.”
