MTV planning Love In Yorkshire reality show

OHMYGOSSIP — MTV is reportedly planning a new reality show set in Yorkshire.
Following on from the likes of ‘The Only Way Is Essex’, ‘Geordie Shore’, ‘The Valleys’ and ‘Made In Chelsea’, the TV network’s bosses are eyeing up a new project currently titled ‘Love In Yorkshire’.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “Essex, Chelsea, Cardiff and Newcastle have all had their slice of the limelight with their own reality TV shows.
“And now it is Yorkshire’s chance to shine. It’s one of the most beautiful places in the UK but it’s also home to the legendary Yorkshire men and women.
“They are known not only for their hardiness, honesty and openness, but they also love a bit of banter. And they are legendary for taking on the challenge of drinking anyone under the table.”
The source promised a “fresh bunch of singletons” trying to navigate their love lives for the whole nation to see.
They added: “Viewers will see this fresh bunch of singletons as they enjoy trying to find love up North, and all the drama and chips and gravy needed to get them through the highs and lows of dating.”
It’s said the show will start filming over the summer, although there is currently no planned air date just yet.
Last year, ‘TOWIE’ celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special reunion show ‘TOWIE Turns 10: All Back To Essex’.
The programme featured some secrets from behind the scenes and shared the truth behind the programme’s biggest scandals, with Amy Childs, Joey Essex, Jess Wright, Lydia Bright, and Danielle Armstrong amongst the famous faces who made a comeback.
However, Amy previously insisted it was “sad” that some of the show’s former stars didn’t return for the milestone.
She said: “For those that haven’t gone back, I think it’s sad. Our lives are different now, yes, but we owe all that to ‘TOWIE’ and the least we can do is celebrate that.”
Mark Wright was one notable absentee, and the 30-year-old beauty was “shocked” he snubbed the show.
She added: “It is a shame Mark has chosen not to celebrate and be a part of that. It is the least we can do. Everyone loved Mark. He was known as the King of Essex. He’ll always be a huge part of the show and I’m shocked he’s chosen not to be there.”
