Celebs on the Farm’s Kerry Katona wants to buy her own farmland

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona has insisted she’s “serious” about buying farmland after her experience with ‘Celebs on the Farm’.
The 40-year-old star is part of the new series of the MTV reality show – which is hitting the small screen next month – and she has been inspired by the power of nature.
She said: “I just never had one down day, so much so that I went online looking for a farm to buy! I found loads, I’m just trying to convince my partner now, but he’s having none of it.
“I want to go from queen of the jungle to farmer’s wife! I’m serious! I actually would.”
The former Atomic Kitten singer found the experience “really therapeutic”, especially when it came to embracing the great outdoors and getting to know her fellow stars, including the likes of Duncan James, Malique Thompson-Dwyer, Shaun Williamson and Linda Robson.
She added: “Oh yeah, I think it’s really therapeutic. There’s the element of being outdoors and working with animals.
“I was with so many lovely people, I was constantly busy, I was outdoors, we all had jobs to do. I think it all helped.”
‘Celebs on the Farm’ was filmed last year, with strict COVID-19 protocols and industry guidelines adhered to throughout the production.
Kerry also embraced the chance to have an escape, and revealed during filming she “didn’t have one down day” in terms of her mental health.
She said: “So for me, I have bipolar and the time I was on the farm I didn’t have one down day. It was just something very therapeutic about being outdoors.
“If I get down and I struggle in normal life, the one thing that helps bring me back up again is going outside for a walk and getting fresh air.
“I’m a perfect country girl. I would never live in the city. I live in East Sussex now because I love the outdoors.”
Brand new to MTV, ‘Celebs on the Farm’ premieres early next month!
