Gemma Collins: Angels gave me a sign they heard my prayers to save dad

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins believes angels helped to save her dad amid his coronavirus battle – after she was told her father “might not make it”.
The former ‘TOWIE’ star had to come to terms with the fact there was a chance her dad, Alan, may not survive his battle with COVID-19, but fortunately he has been “keeping really stable” lately and Gemma is hoping he will be able to go home next week.
She said: “Our house is not the same without my dad and it has been such a scary time because we just haven’t known how he was going to be. And if he was going to make it…
“There were moments where we all had to have the chat about you know what if dad doesn’t pull through.
“I have had such a distressing time due to both my parents having COVID.
“I finally got a call from the doctor to say that my dad has been keeping really stable and he is coming down off of his breathing mask.
“We are hoping to have him home with us next week.”
Gemma admitted her mum, Joan, and dad being struck down with coronavirus has helped to “put things into perspective” in her life.
Throughout her father’s COVID battle, the 39-year-old reality TV star has prayed to God to save him, and she believes the angels sent her a message when she was driving to the hospital recently.
Speaking on her ‘The Gemma Collins Podcast’, she added: “I have been praying to the big man up there. I have been calling on the angels.
“I had a very big indication that the angels had heard me because I had really been praying to the angels about my dad.
“I was driving to the hospital. I am not going to lie … this big white feather came across my windscreen.
“I was like, ‘It is a sign.’ They can hear me.”
Gemma took to Instagram last month to reveal her mum and dad were “extremely unwell” with coronavirus.
She wrote: “Please please please take notice of the guidelines ! Both my parents are extremely unwell with Covid 19 ! Seeing my dad cry which he never does ! Was a shock and say he would rather be dead then experience everything he is going through right now… this has totally wiped him out and it’s heartbreaking my mum also is extremely extremely unwell with Covid also, this is real ! (sic)”
