Kristin Cavallari doesn’t listen to parenting critics: ‘I know I’m a good mom’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristin Cavallari doesn’t let social media trolls impact her parenting.
The ‘Very Cavallari’ star has said she often receives criticism from people online about the way she raises her three children – Camden, eight, Jaxon, six, and Saylor, five, whom she has with her estranged husband Jay Cutler – but doesn’t pay attention to what they say, because she knows she’s a “good mum”.
She told ‘Good Morning America’: “To be honest, I don’t read comments on Instagram, so I don’t catch wind of those comments unless my best friend Justin [Anderson] decides to go on and read my comments and respond to people or whatever it is.
“My oldest son is eight and the second I became a mom people have always loved to criticize some of my decisions. It’s the one area of my life that I’m so confident in. I know what a good mom I am. I know that I’m doing the best for me and my family.
“It’s really just noise, to be honest. I don’t let any of that stuff really affect me.”
Kristin’s comments come after she previously said she was putting her kids first following her split from Jay last year.
She said in September: “I’m excited about the next chapter. I have hard days, without a doubt, and right now I’m really just focusing on my kids and making sure that my kids are good. That’s my only priority at the moment, and they’re handling it well. I’m just trying to stay positive and focus on all of the positive things. But I have sad days, without a doubt.”
The 34-year-old television personality announced her split from the former NFL star via an Instagram post in April.
She wrote: “With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family. (sic)”
